Coaching Staff

Hello Parents, 

I am excited for the start of the 7th season for the Moorpark Wrestling Club. I have a strong passion for the sport of wrestling and enjoy coaching young athletes. I am a native of Moorpark and very proud of our community. I wrestled and graduated from Moorpark High School, thereafter I attended Fresno State University where I graduated with a degree in Social Science. In 2008, I was hired as a history teacher and assistant wrestling coach at Moorpark High. I became head wrestling coach in 2012, and my goal is to continue to grow the sport of wrestling in our community. Through the sport of wrestling I want to teach the importance of hard work, dedication, and discipline. I look forward to working with your athlete.

Moving from Ohio, where he last coached at Olentangy Orange Middle School to a top 10 finish, to Moorpark with his wife Emily, Coach Tim Chadrick is excited to join the Moorpark wrestling program. Believing that wrestling is on the rise with the sanctioning of girls wrestling, Coach Chadrick is ready to welcome all those who are interested in learning about the sport. “I think there are State champions walking around Moorpark right now, they just don’t know it yet. I encourage anyone to come out and try it.”
